1. Who we are
Questoria is a learning app operated by Questoria Learning in Malaysia. “Questoria”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Questoria Learning.

2. Scope
This policy applies to the Questoria Android app, package
com.kiraquestmy.ahaquest, and services directly connected with
the app. It also covers deletion requests made through this webpage.
3. Information Questoria may process
Parent or guardian account
When a parent signs in with Google, Questoria may receive permitted basic account information such as the Google account identifier, name and email address. This is used to secure the account, restore access, synchronise family data and associate access rights with the correct account.
Child learning profiles
A parent may create child profiles containing information such as:
- a short display name;
- age range, learning stage or school year;
- selected languages, subjects, curriculum choices and learning preferences;
- access settings and optional learning-pack rights.
Parents are asked not to enter a child’s full legal name or exact date of birth. Questoria does not provide public child profiles.
Learning and progress data
Questoria may save:
- completed lessons, activities and question history;
- answers, first-attempt results, scores, grades, time and best records;
- topic mastery, practice needs, achievements, badges and certificates;
- language, voice, display and curriculum preferences;
- question reports and support messages.
Some signed-out progress may remain only on the device. Eligible profile and progress data may be synchronised after a parent signs in.
Purchases and paid access
Google Play processes payments. Questoria may receive product identifiers, purchase tokens, transaction status and entitlement information needed to confirm, restore or support a purchase. Questoria does not receive or store the user’s full payment-card number.
Technical and security information
Google Play, Firebase and related Google services may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the app, such as app and device identifiers, IP address, operating-system information, authentication tokens, request timestamps, service logs and security signals.
Voice and audio
Questoria uses device text-to-speech and audio playback for lesson prompts. Current learning activities do not require children to upload personal voice recordings to Questoria.
4. How information is used
- to provide sign-in, account security and parent controls;
- to create and manage child learning profiles;
- to save and synchronise learning progress;
- to select suitable content by age, level, language and subject;
- to show progress, achievements and areas for practice;
- to confirm paid access and restore eligible purchases;
- to respond to reports, support enquiries and deletion requests;
- to prevent misuse and maintain service reliability;
- to meet legal, regulatory, tax, dispute and policy duties.
5. Children’s privacy
Questoria is designed for parent-managed learning. A parent or guardian controls the family account and child profiles.
- Questoria does not show adverts.
- Child information is not used for targeted advertising.
- Children are not asked to create public accounts or public profiles.
- Questoria asks for a short display name rather than a full legal name.
- Questoria does not ask for a child’s exact date of birth.
- Learning information is used to provide the app’s educational functions.
6. Sharing and service providers
Questoria does not sell personal information. Information may be processed or shared only where needed:
- Google and Firebase: Google Sign-In, authentication, cloud database, cloud functions, storage, security and app delivery.
- Google Play: app distribution, purchases, licence checks, fraud prevention and purchase support.
- Other providers: where needed to host, secure, operate or support Questoria under suitable privacy duties.
- Legal and safety: where required by law or reasonably needed to protect users, the public or legal rights.
- Business transfer: if Questoria’s operations are transferred, subject to suitable confidentiality and privacy safeguards.
7. International processing
Google and Firebase services may process or store information outside Malaysia where Google, its affiliates or approved providers operate.
8. Retention
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to provide Questoria, secure accounts, support purchases, resolve disputes and meet legal or policy duties.
- Local signed-out data may remain until app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.
- Signed-in profiles and progress may remain until the parent deletes the account or requests deletion.
- Limited purchase, security, backup, tax or dispute records may be retained where required.
After deletion, active account data is deleted or de-identified, except for limited records that must be retained for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, security or dispute purposes. Retained records are restricted to those uses.
9. Security
Questoria uses reasonable safeguards such as authenticated access, Firebase security rules, access controls, encrypted network connections and fresh Google reauthentication before whole-account deletion. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Delete a Questoria account and its data
Delete inside the app
A signed-in parent can open Questoria’s Parent Space and use the account deletion option. The app requires the confirmation shown on screen and fresh Google reauthentication before the protected deletion request is sent.
Request deletion from the web
You may request deletion without reinstalling Questoria. Email us from the Google account used for Questoria with the subject Questoria Account Deletion Request. Ask us to delete the parent account and all associated child profiles, learning progress, question reports and other cloud account data.
We may request reasonable verification to prevent unauthorised deletion. We aim to complete a verified request within 30 days unless a longer period is required for a lawful reason.
Do not send a password, payment-card details, a child’s full name or an identification number.
11. Parent choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, a parent or guardian may ask to access, correct, export, restrict or delete personal information connected with the family account. We may need to verify authority over the account.

This policy may be updated when Questoria’s features, providers, legal duties or data practices change. A revised page will show a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app.
